AQUASTORM Wet Blasting Machines
With the Aquastorm wet blasting system we can achieve anything from heavy blasting to a very gentle satin finish, as the job requires.

Although water is not traditionally associated with blasting, it can offer many benefits. The most obvious advantage is dust control. Water can be used to trap the dust generated during the blasting process, providing environmental benefits as well as making sure that staff and equipment are not exposed to the dust.
Another advantage is that it provides an additional cleaning agent that can reduce the presence of chlorides and salts on the blasted surface.
Water also has a lubricating effect, minimising wear on the internal parts of the blasting equipment and reducing maintenance costs.
With the Aquastorm wet blasting system we can achieve anything from heavy blasting to a very gentle satin finish, as the job requires. With a minimal quantity of abrasive we manage to cover a comparatively much larger blasted area. The abrasive is placed in the blast pot together with water and the two are propelled together (slurry blasting).
It is used mainly in refineries, engine rooms, shipyards, etc.
