Powder separation cyclone

The cyclone is used to separate and recover the reusable powder. It is fitted between the coating booth and the powder extraction filter unit. It retains the granules that can be reused, while only the powder residues end up in the filter.

During coating, a large part of the powder does not stick to the part. This powder is drawn into a cyclone, which separates the good powder and stores it in a hopper; from there it is collected and reused after being sieved.

Its size depends on the quantity of powder released by the gun.

Final powder filter

Final powder filter

The final filter is used to extract and retain the powder residues. The air discharged from the filter is clean and filtered.

It has high-durability filter cartridges, a wheeled vessel for retaining the powder paints, self-cleaning filter cartridges, a filter safety separator with an extraction control damper, an air chamber and a compressed air dryer, complete with outputs for the solenoid valves that self-clean the powder retention filters.

Vibrating powder sieve

A vibrating sieve is very useful when we use a cyclone to recycle the powder.

It is used for sieving and automatically agitating the powder.

It also helps remove foreign particles from the recycled powder before it returns to the spray gun.

Powder Centre

The powder centre handles the self-contained distribution of powder to the guns, performing the following functions:

  • Feeds the automatic guns of the booth.
  • Feeds the manual guns of the booth.
  • Recycles the unused powder from the booth through a vibrating sieve.
  • Has a vibrating table on which we place the hopper, which has its own independent agitation.
  • There is an automatic cleaning system for the guns, the pumps and the powder hoses for colour changes.
  • Has a lifting system for the powder pumps, for cleaning or topping up the colour
  • Helps make colour changes quick to handle.
  • Performs independent extraction (via a 2HP extraction fan) that draws the powder residues from the agitation and the automatic cleaning.
  • Has a blow-off gun for cleaning.
  • Includes an electrical panel with a touchscreen that controls all of the above functions.
