Blast Helmets
The helmets we supply are of European origin and certified.
Blast helmets take their air from an air compressor, so that the operator does not breathe in the dust suspended during blasting. We also wear them so that the rebounding abrasive does not injure us. The helmet is connected to the compressor by a breathing hose, with an activated carbon filter in between to supply the operator with clean air.
We keep a good number of helmets in stock, ready for delivery, at our premises in Aspropyrgos, Attica. All the helmets follow the same principle. They take air in at the back through a spiral hose, which is fed into the helmet from the top. As a result the air flows downwards and prevents dust from entering at that point.
There are also devices for heating and cooling the air.

The differences we find between helmets have to do with sound insulation, how well they sit on the head, the quality of the cape and of the spiral hose, and the cost of spare parts; some helmets have padding, accept an intercom system, accept a built-in lamp, and various other details.
