Blasting Nozzles
The nozzles are the last component of the blasting system, the point where the abrasive comes out.
Carbide grades
Tungsten carbide: The most economical of the carbides. We prefer it when blasting is not used often, or when using soft abrasives such as glass beads, soda, plastic media, etc. It is considerably heavier than the other carbides.
Silicon carbide: The most widely used. Slightly more expensive than the above but much lighter and more durable. We avoid it when using aluminium oxide.
Boron carbide: A very hard carbide. It offers the best quality-to-price ratio. In theory it is 5-10 times more durable than tungsten and 2-3 times more durable than silicon.
Hot-pressed Boron carbide: Even harder and more durable than the above. We prefer it when using aluminium oxide and hard abrasives generally.

Water attachment: Fitted on the outside of the nozzle, it releases water around the abrasive and so prevents dust. It fits most nozzles. Supplied with the control valve.
Abrasive/water mixing attachment: Fitted between the holder and the nozzle, creating an abrasive/water mix. It has a 50mm screw thread on both sides. Internally it is carbide-lined for maximum durability. Supplied with the control valve.
Abrasive/water mixing nozzle: A nozzle with a built-in water inlet and holes around its circumference that assist the pressure using atmospheric air. Available in diameters of 6.5mm, 8mm, 9.5mm, 12mm.
